There’s an argument that, when viewed in its entirety, the TV show Breaking Bad constitutes the best American movie of the 21st century so far. Following the end of the show, creator Vince Gilligan promptly reunited with a number of collaborators to create a prequel series so good that it’s often referred to by fans and critics as even better than Breaking Bad. When it was announced that Gilligan and co. were working on a movie project set in that world, it set fans' imaginations ablaze.

Charmed centered on a trio of sisters with magical powers destined to save the world. The Halliwell sisters were witches who found themselves thrust into their destiny without knowing anything about it. Likewise, the 2019 reboot did the same for the Vega sisters. Macy, Mel, and Maggie followed in the footsteps of Prue, Piper, and Phoebe for a new generation.

Last year, it was announced that Joss Whedon’s popular TV show, Buffy the Vampire Slayer was being rebooted. Buffy the Vampire Slayer is most remembered through its use of strong female characters and clever writing. Though few details have been revealed about the new series, we do know that it is going to be a continuation of the original with a new slayer assuming center stage. The good news is this leaves the door open for the show’s original cast members to cameo or even be a part of the series.
