The Dark Knight, Blues Brothers, and Shrek are among this year's selections to be inducted into the National Film Registry.

Every year, the National Film Registry of the Library of Congress adds 25 movies to its selection, honoring them for "their cultural, historic and aesthetic importance to the nation’s film heritage."
