To say that the Lost finale was divisive is an understatement, but the fact that we’re still even talking about the ending of a network TV show 10 years later—when the landscape of television has so radically changed in that time—is a testament to the legacy of the series. And in the wake of the finale’s tenth anniversary, co-creator and showrunner Damon Lindelof and co-showrunner Carlton Cuse are reflecting on the journey, warts and all. When Lost first premiered, its allure was largely twofold: it had fascinating characters about whom you wanted to learn …

When it comes to Star Trek, there's an entire universe of creative potential waiting to be thrown onscreen and enough concept art to fill books.
Not all Disney characters started it with the design we saw on screen. From Woody to Hades, these were originally WILDLY different.
With Spider-Man: Far From Home releasing in theaters across the globe in just a few short weeks, there's no better time than now to dive into some of the most exciting possibilities the film carries with it. Being the first Marvel film to take place after the events of Avengers: Endgame, Far From Home has a lot of responsibility being placed on its shoulders to usher in the next age of the MCU. While there are some of the more obvious theories making their way across the web, theories like Mysterio actually being a villain (WHAAAAT?), there are also quite a few making the rounds that could potentially set up some massive changes for the MCU moving forward. So let’s dive into some of the multiverse-shattering possibilities that could be awaiting Spider-fans in the web-slinger’s upcoming film.
The penultimate episode of Game of Thrones, titled "The Bells", saw the deaths of many key characters, not least of all Jaime Lannister. While Jaime was able to fulfill his dream of dying in the arms of the woman he loves, not everyone was a fan of how the Kingslayer's story ended.
One of the hardest parts to do when casting a comic book movie is finding the right actors to play characters that have, in some cases, existed for over half a century. You have to find someone who looks the part and can act like it too. Then that person, for the most part, has to be accepted by a very rabid fan base. Gone are the days where actors like Jack Black are being grossly miscast as Green Lantern (thank the internet backlash for quelling that nonsense). Very rarely does the fan community disagree with a casting, only to come around on it after seeing a trailer or two, or, of course, the film itself (Michael Keaton as Batman).
Fans have been putting together their dream casts for Comic Book movies for years now. Even before the internet, in the old Wizard magazine was a monthly column devoted to fan casts. Years later, thanks to Photoshop, good artwork, and some wild imaginations, fans have been putting together their ideal casts for all kinds of superhero movies. If you’re savvy and imaginative enough, you can take your favorite actors and put them as your favorite superheroes. Every so often, the rest of the internet takes notice and follows suit, posting and reposting a fan’s casting creation and creating some of their own.
In the world of superhero and comic book movies, there are two distinct time periods. There’s the litany of movies before the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and then there’s everything that has come afterward. Christopher Reeve made us all believe that a man could fly. Michael Keaton convinced us that perhaps a guy would dress up as a giant bat and pummel criminals with his bare hands. Near thirty-year-old Tobey Maguire barely pulled off playing a college-aged Peter Parker, and instead of dividing the fan base on his Batman, Ben Affleck was dividing the fan base on his Daredevil.
Regardless of how much you may have loved Naruto, odds are that there are some things that you would have changed about the final season or two or the seasons. It’s equally like that there are just as many changes preferred, if not more, for Boruto.
It almost feels like the world has forgotten about the X-Men. After the poorly received X-Men: Apocalypse and a slew of production issues with the upcoming Dark Phoenix, Xavier's mutants are just not on people's radars like they used to be. Sure, there's a bit of news regarding the almost guaranteed Fox/Disney merger that will bring the X-Men into the MCU, but we still can't be certain of how relevant they will be alongside characters like Captain Marvel, Black Panther, Doctor Strange, and The Incredible Hulk. Still, there are many X-Men fans out there that are praying for the day when their favorite characters are back on the big-screen and stealing Groot and Rocket Racoon's thunder. One of the ways that the X-Men will return to their former glory is if they are re-cast with spectacular actors who can breathe life into them. In the past, many fantastic performers have portrayed the X-Men. But that doesn't mean they were always the best person for the job. At the very least, they were better options out there and still are today.
