A pretty robust lineup of writers and producers has coalesced to tackle an adaptation of Liu Cixin’s renowned Chinese sci-fi book The Three-Body Problem and its sequels. Netflix announced today that Game of Thrones showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss will write and executive produce an original series based on The Three-Body Problem alongside writer and executive producer Alexander Woo, who served as showrunner on Season 2 of AMC’s The Terror.
