This One's for the Ladies

This One's For The Ladies is a documentary about the stagnant state of life for the black community of Newark, NJ since the race riots of 1967. The film follows the black women who frequent The Dojo, which is a karate school by day and a male strip club by night. The movie tells the story of the black female community in Newark and how they make efforts to persevere regardless of the obstacles in their way.
