Beginner | Christopher Nolan is one of my favorite film-makers, and to fully appreciate his films, you have to watch them multiple times. I watched Dunkirk in a Dolby Cinema and thought the "film" was superb - great cinematography, suspenseful moments, strong acting. Given the high bar Nolan has set, I can't say this was as entertaining a movie as Inception, Interstellar, or Dark Knight. There were some redundancies and unfortunately, the younger audience that doesn't know or care about the history will be left wondering why things played out as they did. There were a few disappointing and anti-climatic scenes, but overall, this is definitely worth seeing in theaters. | Jan 22, 2019
Beginner | Im not a big fan of films portraying history that are not accurate. Its a movie nonetheless, but what saddens me is most ppl get there history info from watching movies, instead of reading a book. | Jan 22, 2019
