Doubting Thomas, directed by Will McFadden, centers around a white couple, Jen (Sarah Butler) and Tom (Will McFadden) who give birth to a black child. Jamie Hector, who plays Ron, a very close friend of the couple, also happens to be a black man. It’s no surprise that Tom harbors suspicion and jealousy towards Ron, and Jen is caught in the crossfire. Jen, the mother of their son, Liam, struggles to maintain a normal life for her family. Although Jen loves her child no matter what his skin looks like, other people’s opinions, including Tom’s, weigh on her in abundance.
