Mortal Kombat: Annihilation
The Outworld emperor Shao Kahn opens a portal to Earthrealm and has resurrected Queen Sindel, Princess Kitana's long-deceased mother, to facilitate his invasion. Reigning Mortal Kombat champion Liu Kang and his allies try to defend themselves, and Johnny Cage sacrifices himself in order to save Sonya Blade. The Earthrealm warriors retreat to seek allies.
