In 1986 in Arkhangelsk, USSR, MI6 agents James Bond and Alec Trevelyan infiltrate a chemical weapons facility and plant explosives. Trevelyan is captured and killed by Colonel Arkady Grigorovich Ourumov, but Bond flees as the facility explodes.
