I wouldn't be surprised if The Invisible Man ends up being a pretty big hit for Blumhouse and Universal. The film, stocked with an outstanding cast, feels like it has a little bit of Eat, Pray, Love to it as Blanchett's role as a wife and mother seems to have left her drained and exhausted creatively, and the only answer is to depart across the world to fix it. There's definitely a hefty dose of wish-fulfillment here as well …
