The Batman is a wildly impressive depiction of the Caped Crusader for a multitude of reasons, but none so much as Matt Reeves' understanding of Bruce Wayne's superpower.
The Avatar sequels are coming, and the story might be surprisingly relatable.
Last time I stepped into the cockpit of a Star Wars starfighter, it was to defend the universe from the evil Empire in Star Wars: Rogue Squadron. That title still holds a warm place in my fanboy heart, as does Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire and the many outer space adventures of Dash Rendar and the Outrider. But that was over 20 years ago. My piloting skills have built up more rust than an X-wing submerged in saltwater since then. I'm happy to say, however, that Star Wars: Squadrons, the newest franchise flight sim from EA, takes …

This year marks my fourth tour of duty at CinemaCon, and I still can't tell whether it's a blessing or a curse to present first, but STXfilms stepped up to the plate on Tuesday morning and I'd say they hit a solid double. This year feels like a crucial one for STX, which is poised to take a major leap thanks to what appears to be the best slate of films in its short history. The company is already off to a hot start due to the success of The Upside, which has grossed $107 million at …
Making his comic book debut in 1941’s Captain America Comics #1, the book’s titular hero is one of the oldest Marvel heroes there is, existing for more than two decades before other popular Marvel characters such as Spider-Man and the X-Men. Created during World War II, Captain America was initially intended to serve as the embodiment of American patriotism, but has since become a much more three-dimensional character, generally acting as the representation of freedom and justice. Thanks to his unswayable moral compass and perpetual altruism however, Captain America hasn’t always remained the most popular comic book character with fans. Following the character’s inclusion in the Marvel Cinematic Universe though, Captain America has once again become one of the most popular characters in all of media.
