cole added their review for Tag: While it certainly has its moments and follows the general true story of a group of men who play tag, it becomes extremely redundant and annoying after about 30 minutes in. I would argue that the cast was above the movie and takes everyone, especially Jon Hamm, down a notch. Ed Helms served as a human punching bag, unfortunately becoming a recurring calling card.
jack1978 added their review for Tag: A movie that is both heart warming and funny are very rare finds abd this is one that manages both. Based on a true story a group of friends play tag every year for the month of May. When Jerry (Renner), an almost Jason Bourne of Teg, decides that getting married and family are more important and he will retire this year having never been tagged, the boys pull out all stops to nail him. While it does drift at times the talents of Helms and Johnson manage to hold it together. Fisher is amazing as Anna, the wife of Helms, who takes the game way too serious. For a good laugh and a bit of fun Tag proves a winner
