Two-time Oscar nominee Adam Driver is set to star in Sony's contained horror thriller 65 from producer Sam Raimi and the writers of A Quiet Place. Scott Beck and Bryan Woods will direct from their own original screenplay, which is said to feature a supernatural twist. Mulan filmmaker Niki Caro has signed on to direct Beautiful Ruins for Sam Mendes' Neal Street banner and Steven Spielberg's Amblin Partners, the studio announced Tuesday. The film is based on Jess Walter's bestselling novel, and will be adapted by scribes Mark Hammer and Chiara Atik, working off an earlier draft from Micah Fitzerman-Blue and Noah Harpster.
