Weldon Wong Powers

Weldon has been the writer-director of over 50 digital shorts, including work for online networks All Def Digital and Rooster Teeth. Weldon's directorial career has been dedicated to portraying the Minority-American experience in creative and entertaining ways. His theatrical short films include The Tokens (2013) and The Cut Through (2015), which was produced as part of the AWC Fellowship for Asian-American filmmakers. Weldon is originally from Atlanta, Georgia and has a B.A. in Screenwriting from the City University of New York - Hunter College. He is currently in post production on his first feature-length film, the existential comedy It's A Party (2018).
