AMC has announced a new spin-off for The Walking Dead in 2023 that will star Andrew Lincoln's Rick Grimes and Danai Gurira's Michonne. Furthermore, it was revealed this series will replace the planned Rick Grimes movie.

This has a ridiculous amount of potential to be amazing.

Danai Gurira confirms she is leaving The Walking Dead and her role as Michonne behind after season 10 of the popular post-apocalyptic series.

While Okoye is featured in the group shot, Walking Dead star Danai Gurira's name wasn't listed with the rest of the starring cast.
