In a prologue sequence, fictitious executive producer of Paramount Pictures Jack E. Mulcher introduces the movie, explaining that it has no story, and no plot. The film simply shows a few weeks in the life of a person Mulcher calls "a real nut." Mulcher breaks into hysterical laughter as the movie fades in.
