Gladiator 2

Sixteen years after the death of his father Maximus, Lucius Verus lives as a farmer with his wife Arishat in Numidia under the name "Hanno." The Roman army, led by General Justus Acacius, invades the city. Arishat is killed, and Lucius is taken into slavery. Lucius is thrown in the small arena as a test for dealers, who wish to buy slaves as gladiators, using man-eating mutated baboons. Many slaves are killed, including his friend King Jubartha. In the ensuing fight, Lucius defeats the baboons, earning the crowd's support.
